Luis Canhoto Neves is an Lecturer in the Resilience Engineering Research Group at the University of Nottingham. His work has focused on life-cycle analysis of existing structures and structural risk analysis. He is author of 43 papers in International Journals, and several communications in conferences. He is the recipient of the 2007 Munro Award and the 2008 IABMAS Young Researcher Award. He worked as a bridge consultant, participating in the design of pre-stressed concrete, composite and steel short and medium span bridges.
Luis is a member of the Resilience Engineering research group.
