Mehdi Mokhtari received his B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Sistan & Baluchestan and M.Sc. degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Isfahan. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate of Structural Engineering and is working on the seismic resilience of RC buildings with an emphasis on cost-resilience trade-off using soft computing. Furthermore, he is a professional in the area of seismic resilience and vulnerability in Structural Engineering. During his academic experience in university, he has performed lots of activity as an executive manager in many parts. His awards include: Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, 1st Top Ranked M.Sc. Student Honor at the University of Isfahan, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Award for the Top Paper in the 2nd National Conference on New Material and Structures in Civil Engineering, University of Isfahan, 2nd Top Ranked B.Sc. Student Honor at the University of Sistan & Baluchestan, Department of Civil Engineering. He has taught a variety of academic courses including Statics, Strength of Materials, Analysis of structures, Design of Steel and Concrete Structures, Design of Bridge, Dynamic of Structures, Stability of Structures.
